Also, to obtain basic data for use in future safety confirmation data exchanges.

1.6 On-site response:
The IAA Alliance participated in the 2002 Tokyo Nerima Ward Comprehensive Disaster Prevention Drill, offering a video presentation of the IAA System and a demonstration of IAA safety confirmation information registration using mobile phones. There were relatively few visitors (less than 100) at the site, partly because this drill was held on Disaster Prevention Day, and evacuation drills were being conducted in many locations. The visitors received explanations using panel presentations, and also viewed a video presentation of the IAA System and a demonstration of IAA safety confirmation information registration using mobile phones.
We also distributed pamphlets encouraging participation in a test of safety confirmation information searches using the IAA System.

1.7 Observations regarding on-site response:
Contacts were made immediately before the event, so one point for reflection is that various persons involved were contacted with very little notice. There were few accesses to the IAA system, so increasing the number of accesses remains an issue for the future.
2. IAA System Operation Report
2.1 Report of operation results:
We tabulated the registrations from September 1 to October 7
Total number of registrations from Monster IAA 55
Total number of registrations from NetStar IAA 102
Total 157

The graph in Figure 1 shows the number of registrations day by day. Note, however, that this data was tabulated based on a log for NetStar IAA.
The number of registrations on September 1 was considerably larger for NetStar IAA (NIAA) than for Monster IAA (MIAA). This is because of inadequate settings for MIAA, which resulted in poor coordination. Among the main reasons for this were:
These problems were resolved by around 11:00 on September 1.

2.2 Points for reflection and issues for the future
